Operation Ice Bridge

Operation Ice Bridge is a NASA mission that will bridge the data gap between ICESat 1 and ICESat 2 by flying altimetry, radar and gravity measurements over ICESat 1 ground tracks as well as other dynamic areas of the Greenland and Antarctica Ice Sheets and the surrounding sea ice. Ice Bridge started in 2009 and will continue through the 2015 time frame.
